Docnity is a home healthcare platform that connects users with verified and trained healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, lab technicians, and other medical staff. Services may include doctor visits, nursing care, caregiver services, physiotherapy, lab tests, medical equipment rental, and more.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you are 18+ and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.


3. Account Registration

To book services, you must create an account using a valid mobile number or email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and update it as necessary.


4. Service Booking

4.1 Booking Process

Users can book services by selecting a service type, choosing a time slot, and confirming the booking. All bookings are subject to availability.

4.2 Pricing

All service prices displayed on the Platform are indicative and may vary based on location, service duration, additional medical requirements, and special circumstances.

4.3 Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message from us (via SMS, email, or app notification).


5. Service Providers

Docnity connects users with independent healthcare providers who are verified, trained, and background-checked. However, we do not directly employ these providers.

5.1 Verification

We make reasonable efforts to verify the identity and credentials of service providers. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of provider information.

5.2 Provider Conduct

Service providers must follow all applicable medical guidelines, safety protocols, and hygiene standards. Any violation may lead to termination of provider access.


6. Medical Advice & Liability

6.1 Information Disclaimer

The information provided on the Platform is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

6.2 Emergency Situations

If you have a medical emergency, please call your local emergency number immediately. Docnity is not intended for emergency medical care.

6.3 Liability

Docnity is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform or services provided by independent healthcare professionals.


7. Payments & Refunds

7.1 Payment Methods

Payments can be made through the Platform using online payment methods such as UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, or wallet.

7.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only if:

  • the service is canceled by us,

  • the service was not delivered,

  • or there was a valid service issue confirmed by our support team.

Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment method and bank.


8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

8.1 User Cancellation

Users may cancel or reschedule services within the time limits shown on the Platform. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the timing of cancellation.

8.2 Provider Cancellation

If a provider cancels the service, we will notify you and offer alternative options or a refund.


9. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate medical history and relevant information to providers.

  • Follow the provider’s medical advice and safety instructions.

  • Allow providers safe access to your home for service delivery.

  • Maintain hygiene and ensure a safe environment.


10. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Misuse the Platform or attempt to interfere with its operations.

  • Upload or share false, misleading, or harmful content.

  • Attempt to book services under false identity or with fraudulent intent.

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten any provider or staff.


11. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and design elements on the Platform are owned by Docnity or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.


12. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you agree to our data collection and processing practices as described in the Privacy Policy.


13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in harmful behavior.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.


14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or app notification about significant changes. Your continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.


15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
